Temperature difference

Converts a change in temperature, not a temperature reading, between degrees Celsius, kelvins, and degrees Fahrenheit. Pilots use it for deviation from the ISA standard temperature and for lapse rates. Start with the temperature difference converter. Pitfall: using the ordinary temperature formula on a difference adds a 32° offset that does not belong. A change of 10 °C is a change of 18 °F, while a reading of 10 °C is 50 °F.
