Slope

Converts a slope between rise over run, percent grade, per mille, and degrees. Surveyors, road and site designers, and drone mappers use it for grades, ramps, and terrain. Start with the slope converter. Pitfall: percent and degrees do not scale together. A 100% grade is a 45° slope, not a vertical wall, and the gap between the two scales widens as slopes get steeper.
