Power

Converts power between watts, kilowatts, and mechanical horsepower (550 foot-pounds-force per second). Pilots compare engine ratings with it, and drone builders use it for motor and battery loads. Start with the power converter. Pitfall: horsepower comes in more than one kind. Metric horsepower is slightly smaller than mechanical horsepower, so check which one an engine or motor rating uses before you convert it.
