Fuel

Converts aviation fuel between volume and weight, using a density you enter or a nominal density for avgas 100LL or jet A. Pilots use it for fuel loads, weight and balance, and ordering. Start with the fuel converter. Pitfall: nominal densities are planning values. Real fuel density changes with temperature and batch, so 50 US gallons of 100LL is 300 lb only at the nominal 6 lb per gallon. Use a measured density for weight and balance.
