Data rate

Converts data rates between bits, kilobits, megabits, and gigabits per second. Drone operators use it for video downlinks and telemetry links, and developers for network and storage budgets. Start with the data rate converter. Pitfall: link rates are in bits, but file sizes are usually in bytes, and a byte is 8 bits. Divide a bit rate by 8 before comparing it with a file size, and allow for protocol overhead on top.
